CERS cycling package

TRL has developed a software package, on-street manual and data collection forms to support investment in cycling across the UK and around the world. The package is based on their Cycling Environmental Review Systems (CERS) methodology which was developed over a decade ago. With a greater need to demonstrate value foi money becoming a recurring theme in facility design and implementation, it's never been more critical to fully understand the performance of current infrastructure before considering the need for investment. The objective framework used in CERS supports this aim by ensuring that wider principles of cyclist safety, comfort and attractiveness are all considered as part of any assessment.
