Kubota Law & Patent Office joins Lovells

As of I January, the eight-strong team from Kubota Law & Patent Office have joined Lovells' international IP practice in Japan. Eiichiro Kubota is the first bengoshi partner to be recruited by Lovells, and he and his team of lawyers have joined the Tokyo office.rnKubota was previously the head of Kubota Law & Patent Office, which he founded in 1994- having started his career at Japan's leading IP law firm Nakamura & Partners. He specialises in IP, focusing on patent litigation. Kubota said 'We look forward to integrating with what is the leading international IPMT practice in Japan and building upon this reputation through the additional of our local expertise.'
