Community website Fark.com has filed a trademark application for the popular internet acronym NSFW, for readers not familiar with this it means Not Safe For Work, often found on websites containing images not suitable to view whilst at your desk.rnFark is a site that contains links to bizarre or strange news stories, images or video clips from around the world, many of which are inappropriate to view at work or NSFW.rnIt is not clear on what grounds Fark has to file the phrase as it is very popular internet slang and used throughout the web on chat rooms and forums.
