The Swedish Export Credit Corporation (SEK) has appointed Catrin Fransson as chief executive officer (CEO) and president. Fransson joins the Swedish export credit agency from Swedbank, where she served most recently as head of group products and member of the Swedbank Group Executive Committee. In her previous post, Fransson was responsible for most of Swedbank's subsidiaries, which employ 1,400 people in Sweden and 600 across the Baltic countries.
