Rail Industry Ball raises $30,000 for children's charities

The 7th Australian Rail Summit and the Great Rail Charity Ball in Sydney attracted considerable support with more than $30,000 being raised for the three children's charities JDRF (the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation) Barnardos and Redkite. It was also the occasion for the 12th Annual Australian Railway Industry Corporation (ARIC) Excellence in Export Awards. They are awarded to companies which have submitted a detailed application outlining a project or projects that they consider to be significant in their international endeavours.
