France Telecom's deputy CEO in charge of operations in France, Louis-Pierre Wenes, resigned and was replaced by Stephane Richard (above). Wenes, who had been supervising the group's Next restructuring plan since September 2005, became head of French operations in 2006 and was named group deputy CEO last February. In the past 18 months, employee stress as a result of the programme has led to 25 suicides.
