Descent and effective descent morphisms in ω-Cpo

摘要

A characterization of descent and effective descent morphisms in the category ω-Cpo of ω-chain complete posets is given. It turns out that effective descent morphisms inω-Cpo are exactly those effective descent morphisms in Pos with the property of lifting ω-chains and their upper bounds.
