On 25 April all of the infrastructure managers concerned on the direct London-Bordeaux high-speed route - HS1, Eurotunnel, SNCF Reseau and Lisea (the latter manages the new Tours-Bordeaux high speed line) - met in Bordeaux to push forward a London-Bordeaux service. The grouping said it was "in advanced planning... on pre-planned and agreed timetable slots" for a "new international train operator". The idea is offer "turnkey" solutions to allow services to be set up faster than at present.
