Icome from a long line of tobacco men. My grandfather and father both worked for the tobacco industry. In fact, I continue to steal the latter's copies of Tobacco Reporter. At a time when scientists, doctors and other experts primarily concern themselves with the lungs when it comes to tobacco, I can proudly say that tobacco runs in my veins. I owe my upbringing, education and life to the tobacco industry. And though I am aware of the harms associated with this product, I am thankful for its offerings-and wonder why others are not.
