Industrial Automation Systems Ltd. launches new inspection system to provide 100% verification of tax stamp application

Accu-pac, one of the world leaders in print positioning technology for the tobacco industry, has launched a sophisticated new systems-based approach to Tax Stamp recognition and verification that checks Tax Stamps both before and after pack film application. Unlike most OEM systems which only offer a simple check after the Tax Stamp has been affixed, Accu-pac TSI (Tax Stamp Inspection) system uses visual heads to provide image verification at key additional stages either before AND after film application with two heads, or after film application with a single head. With 100% inspection of all packs after pack film application, packs without stamps can be automatically rejected and problems, such as wrongly positioned stamps, can be quickly identified.
