Can Anyone Beat Google? All the momentum right now is on social networking in real time. I'm not sure a company has ever grown this fast. I think, in fact, if you look at what Google has done to Microsoft's business, there's a chance that Facebook might end up doing something like that to Google. A hundred years out, one of two things is going to happen: either we're going to nuke ourselves into the Stone Age, or we're going to perfect virtual reality, like Second Life. I mean, imagine we can just plug in and be anything we want to be and do anything we want to do. We'll never unplug.
