The articulating Bendi first galvanised the handling market back in 1988 when it proved that its space saving ability and flexibility sharply cut running and capital costs so much so that sometimes instant truck payback was possible. Since then, Translift has broadened its product portfolio, often in concert with its main buyers like B&Q and Wincanton, to include trucks that cover almost all handling tasks. Today, therefore, users can replace dedicated VNA (very narrow aisle) trucks with high level Bendis (the B41), and oust reach trucks and side loaders with its standard models and side loader version.
