FOSTER SUPPLIES AUTOMATION FOR CLIPPER

LB Foster has designed and manufactured interfloor belt conveyors together with an innovative dunnage belt and chute system for Clipper's new Burton-on-Trent DC, which handles the full range of multichannel distribution solutions for Superdry. Almost all of the products stored are flat packed in cartons, and therefore an interfloor belt conveyor was required to move the cartons from the ground floor to and from the three-tier mezzanine. There was also a requirement for a dunnage belt and chute system which would remove waste cardboard from each floor and transport it outside the building.
