The Briggs Automotive Company produces and manufactures the lightweight, high performance road legal car, the Mono. Comprised of a steel tubular chassis with entirely carbon fibre composite body structure, the Mono uses components from Cosworth, Mountune, Sachs, AP Racing and a pneumatic Formula 3-specification gearbox from Hewland, placing it at the top end of automotive engineering excellence in performance. The Mono boasts a 0-60mph figure of 2.8 seconds. To quote Jeremy Clarkson: "You must appreciate how clever the Briggs Mono is; driving one is like conducting an orchestra of parts that know what the are doing, and it has the centre of gravity of a worm."
