摘要

The electrochemical behaviour of Prussian Blue (PB) adsorbed on platinum electrode surfaces is presented. A surface concentration (Γ) of 4.86x10~(-16) mol/cm~2 for oxidation of PB and 8.76x10~(-16) mol/cm~2 for reduction of PB, respectively, was determined from cyclic voltammograms. A value of film thickness of 14.2x10~(-10) m was obtained. The electrochemical data prove that PB is adsorbed on electrode surface as a monolayer. The excellent stability of this monolayer and its electrochemical response is similar to that of galvanostatically deposited PB films.
