摘要

The reactions of [Cu(acac)(AA)(H_2O)]~+ species (AA = 2,2'-bipyridine, 1,10-phenanthroline) with anions derived from 4-methylphenol-2,6-dicarboxylic (H_3MeIPA) and isophthalic acids (H_2IPA) generate new complexes, which result by substituting the acetylacetonato ligand by carboxylato ones: [Cu(bipy)(HMeIPA)(H_2O)]·0.5H_2O·DMF 1 (DMF = dimethylformamide), ~1_∞[Cu(bipy)(IPA)(H_2O)_2]·H_2O·DMF 2, and ~1_∞[Cu(phen)(IPA)(H_2O)]·DMF 3. The crystal structures of 1-3 have been solved. Compound 1 is a mononuclear complex, while compounds 2 and 3 are one-dimensional coordination polymers with a zigzag topology.
