Prediction of the First Critical Cavitation Regime in Screw Rotors of Vane Pumps

A method is described for predicting the cavitation margin of the first critical regime in screw centrifugal and screw vane pumps based on an analysis of the force interaction between the vanes of the screw rotor and the flow of a real liquid.
