Piston-Type Pneumatic Transportation of the Ash from Electric Precipitators at Thermal Power Stations

The results from investigating piston-type pneumatic transportation of ash are presented. A procedure for calculating the parameters of this process was developed. Using this procedure and experimental results that were obtained, the range of reduction in the friction coefficient was determined at different velocities of the pneumatic transport.
