摘要

The 3D flow of monodisperse spherical viscoelastic particles with Coulomb friction in a cylindrical hopper with a conical discharger has been simulated using the discrete element method. According to the simulated data, the flow is pulsed, the flow velocity decreases as the cone half-angle is widened, flow arrests take place at θ > 30°, and the flow changes from the bulk regime to the funnel-type regime at θ > 70°.
