Michelle Obama honours Caudry lace

For Easter, Michelle Obama wore a dress created by the American designer Peter Soro-nen, made from Caudry lace. The lace of this dress was created by three industrialists from Cambresis. The lace of this spring dress was provided by lace manufacturer Jean Bracq, based in Caudry (north France), a top of the range lace specialist. It was then finished off by La Caudresienne, also in Caudry, specialized in dying, whitening and dressings.
