Reversing biodiversity loss and cutting pollution are also key priorities, along with looking into investments needed and existing financing tools that would contribute to ensure a just and inclusive transition. The Green Deal will be the backdrop to the new EU Farm-to-Fork strategy, whose scope includes every step of the food chain, from production and processing through marketing, as well as consumption and international trade.
