Storm Front

Storm Front is a new account of 22 Special Air Service regiment (22 SAS) in the Dhofar campaign between 1970 and 1972, which culminated in the battle of Mirbat, where nine brave SAS soldiers (along with tens of other personnel) fought their own 'Rorke's Drift'. In this book, Rowland White has interviewed many veterans and researched the National Archive records - though regrettably there are no specific references in the book to these records and neither has he investigated the other key archive on the Dhofar war, held at St Antony's College, Oxford.
