Terror, Security, and Money:Balancing the Risks,Benefits, and Costs of Homeland Security

It appears that the timing of Mueller and Stewart's book Terror, Security, and Money is most opportune. We are now into the second decade after the attacks in New York and Washington that heralded the War on Terror. Given the extensive global military, police and intelligence campaigns to hunt down and bring the perpetrators of those and other subsequent attacks to justice -whether militarily, as was preferred by the US, or through judicial processes, as preferred by other Western nations -we need some kind of rational, financial understanding of the costs involved.
