Year of special events planned for 'Great Western 175' celebrations

Next year marks the 175th anniversary of the Great Western Railway and a series of special main line trains and events is being lined up to mark the event. There is widespread speculation as to what this will be, but the programme is still subject to planning being undertaken by Network Rail, Vintage Trains and West Coast Railways in conjunction with First Great Western.
