High-speed railways should be used only for what they're built for and not be forced to double-up as freight or commuter routes!rnThat was the message that came across strongly from many of the international experts addressing the HS conference in London (see story above). Almost without exception, the speakers also stressed that massive State funding is required to build an HS network.
