The Lincolnshire Wolds Railway has opened its extension to North Thoresby (RM Oct).rnFollowing an August 7 inspection, the 'Re-Opening Special' passenger train ran on August 26, hauled by Hudswell Clarke 0-4-OST 1742/46 Millom, on hire from the Buckinghamshire Railway Centre.rnThis was the first fare-paying passenger train to run betweenrnLudborough and North Thoresby since September 11,1961, although North Thoresby station itself didn't close until October 5,1970.rnThe Lincolnshire Wold Railway has bought Swedish 4-6-0 No. 1313 from the North Tyneside Railway (which purchased the loco from the Bo'ness & Kinneil Railway in 1994 but never restored it). It left the Stephenson Railway Museum on August 5.
