Underground 'Q' stock to be restored

Four historic London Underground cars, part of the London Underground Museum collection, entered LU's Acton Works during September to be restored.rnThey have been moved just a short distance from the museum's depot in Acton.rnThe four vehicles, known as 'Q' stock, date from the 1923 to 1938 period and are typical of the trains used on the District and East London Lines from the pre-war period until withdrawal in the early-1970s.
