Two 'wizzos' For Wsr Gala?

Severn Valley Railway-based Class 52 No. D1062 Western Courier, fresh from its major overhaul (RM Oct p81), is visiting the West Somerset Railway for the June 12-14 mixed traffic gala. The event marks the 30th anniversary of the WSR and the Diesel & Electric Preservation Group (DEPG). It is hoped a second 'wizzo' -resident Class 52 No. D1010 Western Campaigner - will be available for its return to traffic too. The DEPG's'Hymek', No. D7017, should be completed after its lengthy overhaul, having been started up for the first time in three years on February 28. Class 42 'Warship' No. D832 Onslaught, still visiting from the East Lancashire Railway, will be in action as well as Class 14s Nos. D9526 and D9520, now a regular visitor from the Nene Valley Railway.
