THE Preserved Locomotive Enthusiasts Group (PLEG) will be operating a private charter at Locomotion, Shildon on November 20 with resident Class 03 No. D2090 hauling two brakevans. It has been repainted BR green with original number, D2090, in the NRM's Conservation Workshop. Previously it was BR blue with TOPS number 03020. Two trains will be run, departing at 10.30 and 11.00 which allow time to catch the 11.57 service train to Bishop Auckland for PLEG's second event of the day. This will be a rare chance for haulage by Class 08 No. 08870 and Dutch English Electric 0-6-0 DENS Class 600 No. 653. This departs Bishop Auckland at 12.45 and runs to Stanhope.
