76084 boiler in frames

THE boiler of BR Standard Class 4 No. 76084 was lifted into the frames just prior to an October 1 76084 Locomotive Company shareholders'day at Hepscott. With the smokebox then positioned on the saddle, supporters were able to view the Mogul looking like a loco again. The presentation was enhanced by replica Horwich worksplates, an original 24D shed plate (in ex-loco condition) and magnetic lined number panels on the newlyfabricated cabsides. Mechanical lubricators made at Minehead have also been fitted.
