Chaloner steams full length of WHR

1877-built De Winton 0-4-OVBT Chaloner became the oldest loco to steam the length of the Welsh Highland Railway on July 23. It was also the longest trip ever undertaken by the loco, bought from Pen-yr-Orsedd slate auarry by Alf Fisher in 1960.
