Tradig as La Societe nouvelle chemin de fer du Vivarais (SNCFV), Kleber Roussillon (travel agency) and Les Courriers Rhodaniens (road coach operators) are the official buyers of the Vivarais metre gauge tourist railway, which closed in 2008. They will operate the line between St Jean de Muzols (near Toumon) and Lamastre, but steam will be limited to the lower section. However, Tournon-St Jean de Muzols, Tournon as a terminus, and the mixed gauge track shared with SNCF electric freight trains is now history.
