Steam gala at Battlefield Line

THE Battlefield Line (Shackerstone Railway) held its first steam gala for more than five years on March 19/20. The opportunity arose with the presence of GWR Small Prairie No. 5542 and 2885 class 2-8-0 No. 3803. Locomotive 5542 Ltd's Prairie No. 5542 has been at Shackerstone since July 2010, other than appearing at the West Somerset Railway's 'Autumn Gala'.
