SHARPNESS & Berkeley Railway Ltd, the company behind the Berkeley Vale Railway project (trading as the Beaver Line), officially moved onto the site at Sharpness on March 5, writes Peter Nicholson. After securing a lease from Network Rail on March 4, the company (part of the Proactive Vision Group) arranged a ribbon-cutting ceremony, performed by the Revd Bill Boon, vicar of Sharpness, on the following day.
