THE final touches were being made to No. 850 Lord Nelson at Ropley, as The RM closed for press, with the Mid-Hants Railway confident that the NRM-owned loco would run in the March 25-27 gala. Lord Nelson has been out of action while the rear driving wheelset, pistons and valves received attention.
