All SDR locos play away from home

For the first time in the South Devon Railway's history, every operational SDR steam loco ran on a line other than its Buckfastleigh home during 2010. 2885 class 2-8-0 No. 3803 made its first-ever visit away from the SDR at the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway's May 29-June 6 GWR175gala. Pannier No. 5786 visited the Severn Valley in March and was on hire through October-December to the Battlefield Line, while Prairie No. 5526 visited Bodmin in April and was at the Great Central Railway from mid-December until mid-February. 0-6-0 No. 3205 visited the Severn Valley Railway's September 24-26 Autumn Gala and Pannier No. 1369 is on long-term hire at Chinnor & Princes Risborough.
