GCR reports 'a big loss'

Great Central Railway president Bill Ford has warned the line's supporters to anticipate "a substantial loss" in the end-of-year accounts. Booking office turnover has risen by ￡167,000 but the recession has reduced the amount of filming and testing work at the GCR. A President's Appeal to buy shares is reported to have not been particularly successful.
