B12 winter tests on East Lanes before return to North Norfolk

The Midland & Great Northern Joint Railway Society's B12 No. 8572 will be tested on the East Lancashire Railway (in undercoat) prior to dispatch back to its North Norfolk Railway home. The boiler, overhauled by Chatham Steam, will be mounted in the frames at Ian Riley's works (where the chassis has been refurbished) while the tender (overhauled at Weybourne) is being sent to the East Lancashire Railway to join the loco. Locomotive and tender are expected back at the North Norfolk Railway during February where they will be painted.
