Railmotor revival - boiler installed

Following successful operational trials of the power bogie and boiler assembly for the Great Western Society's Railmotor No. 93 on November 17 (RM Jan), the bogie was partially dismantled to enable installation in the coach body. This work required removal of the temporary platforms to accommodate crew, coal, water tank and hand brake. The boiler was lifted off the bogie on November 23 at Llangollen's Pentrefelin carriage works yard and with the coach body raised on power jacks, the bogie was pushed into place and the coach body lowered back down.
