Standard 2 to star at EVR's Duffield openinq

Great Central Railway-based BR Standard 2 No. 78019 is booked for a March-May visit to the Ecclesbourne Valley Railway, where it will star at the line's opening of passenger services to Duffield. Public opening through to Duffield will be in early April (a projected date is yet to be confirmed), thus completing the revival of the Duffield to Wirksworth branch as an operational passenger line after a 64-year break. There will be four or more train services over the full line at weekends (and other operating days) between April and October. EVR services will connect with national network Nottingham-Matlock services operated by East Midlands Trains at Duffield.
