Greater Anglia aiming to emulate Northern hub's investment success

Greater Anglia has outlined plans it sees as vital for rail investment in the region. They hope the plans could emulate the'Northern hub', where local authorities, politicians and business leaders have worked together to secure additional rail investment. Abellio, operator of the Greater Anglia franchise, has been helping to draft a new prospectus which sets out the case for greater investment in the region's rail network. The prospectus was launched on July 2, and covers key priorities for the remainder of this decade, as well as a 20 year vision that will cover the next franchise period.
