BR Standard 4 moves to Norfolk

The 76084 Locomotive Company's BR Standard Class 4 No. 76084 moved under its own power for the first time in 46 years on May 30. The move was made during a steam test over a short track in the yard at the loco's Hepscott restoration base in Northumberland as No. 76084's overhaul approached conclusion. No. 76084 was withdrawn by BR in December 1967. Rescued from Barry in 1983 by Phil Rollin, it was stored in his garden at South Leverton, Notts, until his death in the mid-1990s.
