Farmer Colin Shutt is building a delightful Colonel Stephens-style railway on his land in East Yorkshire. The East Wressle & Brind Light Railway is already home to his Ford Model T railbus - an award-winning replica of one of the colonel's vehicles, of which no originals survive - and that is to make a rare public appearance at the Derwent Valley Light Railway's centenary event on July 20-21 (RM July p98).
