We are not in the least surprised to find that the pointed reference made in the last issue to the revival of the Channel Tunnel project has attracted attention at home and abroad. The Daily Graphic has since taken up the subject with enthusiastic vigour by presenting the views of public men, with the object of showing how the old hostility to the scheme has disappeared, and establishing the fact that the people who formerly regarded the proposed tunnel as a source of national danger are now insisting that it is essential to the country's safety.
