After appearing at the Great Central Railway's Swithland Steam Gala on April 26-28, the Talyllyn Railway's Hughes 0-4-2ST No. 3 Sir Haydn was due to move to the Great Central Railway (Nottingham) for display during the May 4-6 Closing the Gap gala, which is aimed at raising funds for a bridge linking the two GCRs. No. 3 will leave Ruddington on June 21 to appear at the June 22-23 Tyseley Works open days. It then goes to Midland Railway-Butterley for display (on a Weltrol wagon) in the museum at Swanwick Junction between June 24 and September 19.
