An American millionaire has funded the construction of the first roundhouse to be built in the USA since 1951. Jerry Joe Jacobson has built the 18-road shed, along with its own fully-equipped workshop, around a 115ft turntable to house his collection of nine steam locomotives acquired over three decades, ranging from an 0-4-0T to a Grand Trunk Railroad 4-8-4.
