Changes to EMU diagrams by First Capital Connect from December 9 will see four peak hour Peterborough-King's Cross services lengthened to 12 cars. Extensions to platforms at Sandy, Biggleswade, Arlesey and Finsbury Park will allow the longer trains to call at these stations. Withdrawal of the 06.40 Huntingdon-King's Cross will allow a slightly later train to run as a 12-car, as will the 07.32 ex-Peterborough. On FCC's other route -King's Cross to Cambridge and King's Lynn - there will be extra seats and additional non-stop services from Cambridge to King's Cross.
