Historic order for Swaziland

Landlocked Swaziland is receiving the first of four Co-Co RL30SCC-3 diesel-electric locos. These are the first locos the tiny southern African nation has owned; until now it has relied upon hiring in from neighbouring countries. US-based manufacturer NREC has leased the new locos, which were built in South Africa by RRL Grindrod. In addition, 75 new iron ore wagons-built by South African freight company Transnet - are being delivered.
