Waleswood put up for sale

Under-overhaul Hudswell, Clarke 0-4-0ST No. 750 Waleswood is up for sale. Owner Paul Martin has put the 1906-built loco on the market, even though he has brought it to an almost operational state, including a full rebuild of the chassis. The former Waleswood Colliery (Rotherham) locomotive currently resides at Statfold Barn, having spent nearly three decades at the Battlefield Line. Mr Martin says the sale price will be "reasonable".
