Extra Class 67 duty for Arriva

A £1.2 Million deal between the Department for Transport and Arriva Trains Wales will add an extra 2,450 seats to services in North Wales and the North West when the December timetable change comes into force. The funding is supported by the Welsh Government, and will allow Arriva to operate an extra Class 67 and carriages, which will be used to provide additional capacity on busy commuter services, as well as an extra loco-hauled train to Holyhead.
